Summary
-
There was always never looking good for
“waiting” on something we don’t know when it happen to make a move. That is
what we had now. But eric always said “everythings slow in here (maybe about
MoU) so just wait and keep the momentum so if there “the time” come, we can go
as quick as we can”. So everyday (normal workday) all project staff come and
waiting on the news. Eric had make a good plan “after” MoU be sign and take a
person to responsible at that job. It’s a good plan so we can use it when MoU
been sign. Latino give us advise to make our waiting time “life”. He suggest us
to make a training to Fr’s because theres always have a difficult way to make a
communication with farmers, communication with leader (English and Indonesian
language), input data and some knowledge about our project will do in
farmers/field. So we had make a schedule training and this training had been doing
now.

After eric leave, DG had come to us (27May2016) and
tell about the MoU still in the ministeriu and still been check at there. DG
didn’t know to what make it so long till now. Was it because the trilateral or
another rules had been change? (there not only MAF but ministry of Foreign Affairs
and ministerio dos Negocio Estrangeinos too to make MoU been sign). So DG just
said to keep wait and its good to had a training at waiting time.

We have a good team in the project and all of
them know what the role to their job to be responsible. Its good to get an
experience team (not at all but still almost) to make a best project activity
especially Joana who could expert in finance and administrative and also in
communication to all staff project and staff MAF (directur and project leader
too). Jorge still “a bad boy” but his experience and leadership was very good.
It’s a bonus to get him in the team to make the team life and growth (his
English so bad but its make the other have to answer the question if Jorge can
answer before (at English game). Joanita and Ikin have a good talent. Their
experience in field is good too but their data analyses level still have to be
improve. Jorge always help them to finish their analyses job. Armando and Maria
still a “young” Frs but their have full of talent. Maria have a good English
better than other Frs. Their knowledge of marketing is good too but I still
have to check their task before. Me, I didn’t have an experience in huge
project like this (my English was not good too), but I still have a good experience
in farmer training and livestock research in project before, include how to
make a good administrative, planning, monitoring and evaluation and problem
solver in farmers from my project leader before. And the best things are we
still could growing. MAF staff like as Celestino, Calisto, Latino, Pedro,
Quinty, Carlos, Domi etc were the best people we could get from the MAF staff.
They have full of experience in ACIAR project and care to us. They always come
to ACIAR office and give an information and advise for us. Remember (as Latino
said to us) “depend on DG said on project training and opening in Arbiru Hotel
(march2016) that’s the MAF staff who include in this project now still not
legally until their name were on the project staff list after MoU been sign.
just DG and Celestino had have an “SK/Surat Keputusan”. so their exactly will include
(if MoU been sign) but now still illegally to connect with the project but
their still come and discuss with us.
